Learned extrovert?

Could it be that there are more introverts out there than we realise?

Giving myself permission to step back and be inside my own head more often has been a joy, and a relief. But I only did this when I was 40.

A long exhausting career up to that point had been full of extraversion with very little downtime. Is it any wonder I needed a break?

If we all believe that being fun, bubbly and outgoing is the way to be happy then it follows that many quieter types could be squeezing themselves into a suit that doesn’t fit.

How about banging the drum for more Quiet, more solitude and a little more pause for thought….?
